The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has launched the On-line Application System (OAS) to improve their service to the growing number of applicants nationwide, especially for nursing, teachers and criminologists licensure examinations.
The online application system will allow applicants to file and process their application through the internet, anytime and anywhere.
“Instead of falling in line and waiting, PRC licensure applicants can now apply for the examinations in the comforts of their home, office, school, or a nearby Internet cafe. This means that at the initial stage, the applicant need not come to the PRC to encode the information that the PRC requires,“ said Labor and Employment Secretary Rosalinda D. Baldoz.
She also said the OAS will also reduce, if not remove, the long queue of applicants at PRC offices.
Online Application for PRC Licensure Examinations
In order to file for a licensure application online, one must log in at the PRC official website. In the PRC official website, applicants will be required to encode and submit their applications.
However, they would still need to visit the PRC office for the verification of their documents, for payment, and to get their notices of admission or test permit. Applicants must visit the PRC office on or before the deadline of the application for their chosen examination.
Errors on the encoded information that applications committed when they applied online can also be corrected during the validation process.
